Huawei is getting ready to unveil its first flagship of the year, the Huawei P8. The device will be unveiled in a dedicated event in London on 15th April. A few days back the company in their presentation talked about their product line up for the year 2015, from that we know that Huawei P8 was in the books. We thought that the company may introduce the smartphone at their press event on 1st March at the MWC, but that is very unlikely now, we will most probably be looking at Huawei Mate 7 Compact being introduced at the event along with some other devices.
The company has strategically chosen the launch place for the flagship as London, they says that most of their high end smartphones are sold more in Europe than in the US. This is not the first time the company has selected a venue in one of the European countries, Huawei launched P6 in London and P7 in Paris. Huawei wants to sets itself as a credible global brand and for that the company is working on building a strong presence in markets like Europe. The company has been highly successful in China and they were they were the third largest smartphone manufacturers in 2014 in terms of shipment.

Huawei P8 will most probably sport a 5.2-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. With a lot of companies working towards Quad HD displays, Huawei does not seem keen on delving with high resolution displays as they want to optimize on battery time. With new reports that LG may bring G4 with a 3k display, Huawei will have to up their game soon. The device will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 930 processor, accompanied by a 3GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to feature a 13-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 2600mAh battery is supposed to power it.
As of yet we do not have more information about the specification of the Huawei P8 but we will be getting updated about that in the next coming days as we know how the rumor mill gets heated up when a company is close to launching its device.
Best regards..
