OnePlus One was hailed as one of the best smartphones of 2014 and Time magazine called it the ‘phone of dreams’. The smartphone had advanced specs, beautiful design and a killer price. The only grey cloud in the sunny picture was the difficulty that prospective buyers faced in getting one. Their email invite system made it impossible for people to get the device and for some the wait and the difficulty in getting it was a turn off. Hope that the company manages this aspect better with OnePlus Two. When a manufacturer sets a high standard in terms of quality with one product, people look forward to how they can surpass that. OnePlus Two in that view needs to be one top-notch, nifty product that will again make it one of the best in the market.
New details related to OnePlus Two have emerged which show that the company is going in the right direction with their upcoming smartphone. Reports suggest that the device will be powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Most of the upcoming flagships are going to make use of this chipset, Samsung will be using Exynos processcor as well due to issues of overheating, so we will have to see if OnePlus sticks to Snapdragon 810 or uses something else. Apart from this the device will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2K) display, this aspect is also rumored to be seen in Samsung Galaxy S6. OnePlus Two will be equipped with a 4 GB RAM and will be powered by a 3300mAh battery.
OnePlus Two is expected to launch in Q2/Q3. The company is also working on a wearable too, there are no confirmed details as to what it will be, a smartwatch or a fitness tracker or maybe both. The company claims that they are going to ‘surprise’ people with their upcoming products, let’s see how they manage to do that.
