Samsung’s upcoming flagship is shaping up to be an ultra speced device with advanced features and specifications. The company is set on producing what the company executive says an ‘innovative premium handset’. To date the company as reported has made a lot of changes and is working on re-vamping the S-series handsets.
Samsung’s profits for the last three years have been dropping, the company is being challenged by Chinese start-ups and last year Apply cut a large share in its profits by selling 76 million units in one quarter only. To regain their presence as a leading smartphone maker the company had to re-work on their product portfolio for 2015. To date the company has launched several low end and mid range smartphones in different Asian markets, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the company trump cards, a chance to prove to the world that they always land on their feet and they have the knack of coming back stronger. In this respect Robert Yi, Samsung’s head of IR claimed that:
We will strengthen our industry leadership with the slim design of the metal-clad products and AMOLED display.
The ‘premium handset’ will also have a ‘special function’, at this point we cannot speculate what that might be. Just today we reported that the company will make their upcoming flagships Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge compatible with the Gear VR. This shows that apart from change in design aesthetic, the company is focused to providing a great us.er experience. PhoneArena posted a render of the Galaxy S6 to give people an idea of what the improved Galaxy S6 will end up looking like, have a look.

If the company pulls off what we can see here and promise to deliver on quality then we can see Samsung back in the game of what it is good at, producing innovative top quality smartphones. Looking forward to what Samsung brings us at the MWC.
