The BlissPop ROM for the Nexus 6 is one of the more highly customizable roms available for the Nexus 6. The BlissPop custom rom is running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop which at the times of this writing is the latest version of Android available. The BlissPop custom rom is based off of the CyanogenMod 12 source code but it comes with additional features on top of what already comes with CyanogenMod 12. To explore some of the features it has you simply go to your phone’s settings menu and tap on any of the options within ‘Personalization.’ For instance by tapping on ‘Interface’ you are resented with tons of customizations and features. Everything from the App Circle Bar, animations and gesture features.
Before you are able to flash this custom rom onto your Nexus 6 you first need to make sure that you have a root enabled device along with a custom recovery. TWRP recovery is the one I’d recommend if you don’t already have it.

÷ Installation Instructions for BlissPop ROM on Nexus 6:
•Download Latest BlissPop ROM zip file
•Download Google Apps (GAPPS)
•Step 1
Enable usb debugging on your Nexus 6. If you haven’t done this before you do it by going to settings>about phone>build number. You tap on build number until it says you are now a developer. Go back to main menu in setting go to developer options>usb debugging.
•Step 2
Download the BlissPop ROM and GAPPS onto your computer. Then copy both files to your Nexus 6 via the micro usb cable.
•Step 3
Turn off your Nexus 6 and boot into your custom recovery. To boot into TWRP recovery you press and hold Power Button + Volume Down Button. This will bring you to the bootloader. From here you use the volume rockers to navigate to recovery and press power button to select.
•Step 4
Do a factory data reset which you do by tapping on the wipe tab in your custom recovery.
•Step 5
Go back to the main menu of the TWRP recovery and flash both your BlissPop ROM zip file and the GAPPS zip file.
•Step 6
After both files have been flashed you will need to reboot your device. Profit!
The initial boot up always takes a few minutes longer than what it normally would. Now if your phone takes unusually long to boot up like say 30 minutes then you are most likely stuck in a bootloop. Just boot back into bootloader mode and reflash the custom rom and GAPPS. Once your phone successfully boots up you will be brought to the set up wizard which you can set up or just skip.
